About Me
For 15 years, I worked in various NYC museums and art history departments at area colleges and universities in an effort to make art more accessible. In December 2012, after the Sandy Hook School shooting, I became an “accidental activist.” I helped launch Moms Demand Action for Gun Sense in America, starting chapters across the country and organizing large public events. As the grassroots arm of Everytown for Gun Safety grew from several dozen concerned parents to over 10 million supporters, I used my background in teaching and advocacy to launch a program supporting activists through training and mentorship, now working to create and curate personalized training programs focused on issue advocacy strategy and leadership development. I am proud to serve as a founding member and Chair of the Board of Directors for Teachers Unify to End Gun Violence Action.

Survivors of Gun Violence and Community-Based Arts
Whether it’s music, theater, painting or sculpture, art has the power to make connections, uplift our spirits, and find our voices to take action. With this understanding, I strive to connect survivors to community-based arts programs that provide new opportunities and experiences that are free and accessible. Let’s work together to find the best program for your interest. Below Is a sampling of programs I have worked with previously:
